USA Dance is the National Governing Body for DanceSport in the U.S. It is a Member Organization of the U.S. Olympic Committee; and a 501c3 non-profit organization promoting and providing ballroom dancing opportunities and the highest quality of social and competitive ballroom dancing to members and friends of USA Dance. Having 160+ chapters throughout the United States. USA Dance is a sponsor of the USA Dance National DanceSport Championships, the National Collegiate DanceSport Championships, 10 - 12 National Qualifying Events and many local competitions. In addition, USA Dance sponsors many social events including National Dance Cruises, clinics & workshops, social dances and community activities.
