Note To Competitors:
Each INDIVIDUAL competitor is limited to EIGHT entries for the weekend. Fun events, University Team Matches and Formation Teams are exempt from this restriction.

Please read below BEFORE proceeding to ONLINE REGISTRATION
Collect the membership numbers of your teammates BEFORE entering online. Use the membership numbers to make the entry process EASIER. (When you enter a valid membership number, the person's information should automatically fill in.) If a dancer does not have a USA Dance membership yet, use the drop-down menu next to membership number to select a temporary ID. Use one number for each individual - Do NOT create a new member ID for every entry. PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS on the entry form prior to entering any information!
ENTRY DEADLINE:
ONLINE REGISTRATION http://www.o2cm.com/forms/entry.asp?event=ncc with payment due Midnight, Friday, Nov. 6, 2009.
Late entries will only be accepted at the discretion of the organizer. If you want to ensure that you will be able to dance the events you want, REGISTER IN ADVANCE
All competitors packets will be arranged by Gentleman Competitor.
NEWCOMER COMPETITOR STATUS:
A Newcomer is defined as someone who has only been dancing for 12-months or less, has never competed and is dancing only at the newcomer or maybe bronze level.
Newcomer leader is defined as someone who
A) Is male and has competed less than 12 months and
B) Is not dancing with the same or another partner, in any level higher than bronze, or
C) Is a bronze or silver female follower, who is leading a newcomer female
Newcomer male leader cannot be
A) Dancing in a level higher than bronze, regardless of dance style and/or
B) A male who has competed for more than 12 months, regardless of current level or style of dance.
Newcomer female leader cannot be
A) A leader in any event higher than bronze, regardless of style of dance and/or
B) A follower in any gold or higher level, regardless of style of dance.
ELIGIBILITY:
Individual competitors must meet all the requirements below:
A) Be at least 16 years of age and no older than 35 AND
B) Must be enrolled in an accredited University or College AND
C) Be able to present a valid and current Student ID during registration AND
D) Must have a valid USA Dance membership number.
UNIVERSITY TEAM MATCH CHAMPIONSHIP:
We will be running two team match events: American University Team Match Challenge and International University Team Match Challenge. There will be four dances in both of these events. A team will consist of four couples, one for each dance.

Tango
Viennese Waltz
Mambo
East Coast Swing
International University Team Match:
Cha Cha
Samba
Foxtrot
Quickstep
Entries:
A) Schools can enter two teams.
B) One Team Entry per Style
C) Four couples for each Team
D) Each person can dance only once.
E) A team member may only dance on one team
Both Team Match events will be danced as a final round regardless of how many teams enter the event.
FORMATION TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
Must submit a written entry form. - Formation Team Entry Form
Please Note: We will be allowing Formation Teams as small as 4 couples
To avoid rule violations, please check with the USA Dance DanceSport Rule Book. Please download the rules at www.usadance.org. You will be required to show the routine to our invigilator on Friday night 9.20.09 and will have 10 minutes to do this. If additional time is needed you will have time early Saturday morning prior to the start of the event. You will not be allowed to compete unless we see the routine.
Couples competing in events other than the Formation Team, must register for those events separately and pay online for their individual events.

Same Sex Partnerships will be allowed with the following restrictions:
(1) It is only allowed in the following levels: newcomer, bronze, silver, gold. (The non-open levels)
(2) The dress code will require that all competitors dress as it is stated in the rules of the dress code. Any one not complying to the dress code will be asked to leave the floor.
